What are PDE-5 medications?

Monday, 30 June 2008 10:11 by Suleman

Kamagra (sildenafil citrate) is one of a family of medications referred to as PDE-5 inhibitors.

Other PDE-5 inhibitors are:

  •  tadalafil (Apcalis)
  • vardenafil (Auvitra)

All PDE-5 inhibitors work in the same way.  It should be noted that PDE-5 inhibitors will only produce and erection with the aid of sexual stimulation.

Sexual stimulation causes Nitric Oxide (NO) to be released within the walls of the penis.  NO acts as an activation agent for the guanylate cyclase enzyme.  This enzyme increases the level of cyclic guanosine monophosphate or cGMP in the walls of the penis.

cGMP relaxes the blood vessels supplying blood into the penis which are naturally intended to limit blood-flow.  This relaxation allows blood to enter the penis faster and an erection occurs.

PDE-5 inhibitors slow down the re-absorbsion of cGMP into the body and aim to keep the cGMP levels elevated so an erection can be achieved and maintained.

Now you can see why sexual stimulation is necessary before Kamagra can enhance a man's erection.

What are Contra-indications and Indications?

Monday, 30 June 2008 10:08 by Suleman

The simplest way to explain this is provide an example:

  • Kamagra is indicated for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction.
  • Kamagra is contra-indicated where the subject is taking nitrate medication.

An indication means that it is medically linked and intended for a purpose.

A contra-indication shows that two or more medications or conditions are unsuitable to be combined.

Safety and Doseage Information for Kamagra

Monday, 30 June 2008 09:48 by Suleman

Before taking any form of medication, you are advised to seek medical advice from your personal physicial or GP.

When taking Kamagra (sildenafil citrate) you should carefully consider the necessary doseage for your body.  Studies have shown that even race has an effect on the efficacy of Kamagra.

Nitrates are contra-indicated for Kamagra.  That means don't take any form of sildenafil citrate if you are taking or have been taking nitrate medication.  If in doubt, contact your physician.

Care should also be taken in the following circumstances:

  • when taking alpha blockers (doesage must be reduced and medical advice sought)
  • in the over 65 age group
  • where the subject has kidney or liver damage or dysfunction or a temporary reduction in use
  • where the subject has either high or low blood pressure
  • where the subject has a history of circulatory or pulmonary problems

Remember, you may be OK to take Kamagra but if any of the following apply to you then you are strongly advised to speak to you physician before taking Kamagra.  Your physician may indicate that a lower doseage is required.

Side-effects are a common occurrence when taking ED medications.  According to studies, the most common side-effect is headaches which 10% of subjects get.  Less common side-effects include dizziness, dryness-of-the-mouth, dyspepsia (indigestion & stomach aches).  In some cases mild and temporary reduction in hearing or vision have occurred.  This is rare but if you experience these side-effects you must immediately stop your Kamagra (sildenafil citrate) intake.

Although an erection is the desired effect of taking Kamagra, erections should not last in excess of 4 hours.  If this occurs then you must contact a medical professional.  Damage to the tissue of the penis can occur if erections are maintained for periods in excess of 6 hours.

Millions of people throughout the world take Kamagra and other forms of Sildenafil Citrate safely on a regular basis.  We provide this information to you so you can be better informed when considering or using Kamagra.

What is Lovega?

Tuesday, 17 June 2008 04:55 by Suleman

Lovegra is basically the pink version of Kamagra and is chemically identical to Kamagra in terms of active ingredients.  That means Lovegra contains Sildenafil Citrate.

Lovegra is targetting mainly at women and gay men and any change in the response due to taking Lovegra over Kamagra is purely psychological.

Kamagra (and therefore Lovegra) has been shown to have a positive sexual effect among women even though Kamagra was developed for use by men.

The same medical advice should be applied to Lovegra as for Kamagra.  Particular attention should be paid to getting the doseage correct.  Both women and men should start off on mid doseage to test the water.  A pill cutter can be used to split pills in order to half the doseage.

Information updates on Exact Pharma

Tuesday, 3 June 2008 03:36 by Suleman

Here at Exact Pharma we have been fortunate to take on customers from other businesses as they close.  The other side of this is that we can take on their website URLs.

We are currently working to push our URLs up on the search engines with a view to getting www.exact-pharma.in higher on Google, MSN and Yahoo!

Since a large portion of our repeat clients simply type our name into Google rather than using the URL directly, this is a very important stage for us.

Fresh content is a great way of doing just this, which is why you may notice FAQs and information changing for the better over the coming weeks and months.
